Anise seed oil: aside from being delicious in culinary applications, it is a fascinating oil when used in aromatherapy. In smaller doses, the oil shows stimulating properties, while in higher doses, it has a sedative, relaxing effect. Use a little or use a lot of this soap; tailor the results to your needs.

Olive oil: naturally high in squalene, an oil that mimics your skin’s natural sebum, so it’ll leave your skin barrier extra smooth and soft. Full of antioxidants that work to fight environmental skin damage.

Licorice root: delivers essential fatty acids and brightens the look of skin for a supple and radiant complexion

Burdock root: calming, soothing and nourishing to irritated skin
