Black Sage: Ideal for spiritual and medicinal purposes. This sage is one of the darkest and most aromatic of all species. Astringent, antiseptic, antimicrobial, and nervine (soothing to the nerves). It is associated with air and Jupiter.
Lavender: Well known for its ability to calm the nervous system, lavender, supports healing.
Eucalyptus: is an expectorant, helping to cleanse the body of microorganisms and toxins; it is also an anti-inflammatory and stimulates your immune system.
White Pine: an aromatic decongestant. Pine's healing effects on the respiratory system are due to its fragrant, resinous oils, and tannins. These and more make it an important herbal medicine for the lungs that can be used on its own to good effect, as a full-strength infusion, steam, or as a cough syrup.
California everlasting: aromatic, antimicrobial, decongestant respiratory support. Smells subtly of maple syrup, one of my favorite plants for loosening stuck congestion.
