Directions: Bring water to a boil, pour over the loose tea. Use 1 tsp or more per 8 oz. of water depending on how strong you like your tea. Let the tea steep for 10 minutes. Keeping the tea covered while steeping will lock in more aromatics, resulting in a more fragrant cup. Pour through a strainer and enjoy.

Rose: One of the best-loved plants for the heart. Rose can allow movement of energy through the heart acting as a soother to the body and spirit. As a thorned plant, rose can help establish healthy boundaries.
Hawthorn: historically used for all manner of heart ailments. A member of the rose family, hawthorn, is well-loved by herbalists and scientists alike for its proven benefits when dealing with the heart.
Pedicularis: If you've followed me for any length of time, you are probably familiar with my love of Pedicularis. Now, more than ever, I am finding generous support with this powerful herb.
Often used for skeletal muscle pain, I find this plant to be phenomenal for emotional distress and an innate ability to help us feel more centered and grounded without feeling impaired.
Pedicularis is a semi-parasitic plant, meaning it has a relationship with the root system of the host plant. Siphoning nutrients from these root systems, Pedicularis also taps into the ancient information they hold, the wisdom of the forest. I do not find it surprising that Pedicularis works so well on back pain, what I would consider our "root" system.
If you've used the "Roots" body oil, this tea will have a similar action.
I've used three species of Pedicularis in this tea, some rose and hawthorn to support the heart and linden for it's calming, uplifting presence.
