  Douglas Fir: stimulates activity at the skin's surface, encouraging more blood to travel to the surface of the skin, helping to flush toxins, speed healing, and ease pain

  Juniper: A powerful herb ruled by the sun, Juniper has long been used aromatically for protection.  It helps balance skin and increases circulation.

  Piñon: contains antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial properties making it highly effective at soothing many skin irritations. Ruled by Mars, piñon trees are powerful, protective, and full of healing.

  Cottonwood: the coveted buds of the cottonwood tree contain anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving abilities.  Perhaps the most delightful aspect of cottonwood (from an herbalist's perspective) is its swoon-worthy scent. 

  Shea butter:  a great daily moisturizer. It can minimize wrinkles and fine lines, heal cracked, dry skin, and relieve itching due to dry skin. It can maintain and restore the skin's natural elasticity and is used to help prevent stretch marks in pregnancy.

  Coconut oil: has generated quite a following and it's no wonder why. As a skin conditioner is can help minimize moisture loss through the pores. Coconut oil contains vitamin-E which is essential for healthy skin growth. It is beneficial in preventing premature aging and wrinkling due to its antioxidants.
